The Best Blog Posts of 2023

Hello Reader,

I hope you are doing great!

We’re well into 2024 now as February looms in sight, but before we head full speed ahead to the depths of this new and exciting year, I want to take a quick stroll down memory lane.

In this email, I'm thrilled to present a carefully curated selection of what I consider to be "the Best of 2023" blog posts.

These posts hold a special place in my heart, as they encapsulate the essence of the progress we as a community, and I personally, made last year.

Each piece was chosen not just for its popularity, but because of the unique insights, stories, and trends they brought to our community.

Much thought and effort went into crafting these articles, and they offer timeless advice for all of us on the journey to a happier life.

I hope you enjoy reading the articles as much as I enjoyed writing them!

1. Focus on the Positive: 8 Effective Methods for Turning Negative Thoughts into Positive

2023 started with which is arguably one of the favorite articles I have written so far:

Focus on the Positive: 8 Effective Methods for Turning Negative Thoughts into Positive

Focusing on the positive is not about what thoughts or feelings we might have, but about how we choose to frame those thoughts and feelings.

Having a positive mindset will allow you to see the positive side of things and face many situations in a positive and productive way.

The point of focusing on the positive is to learn to think positively and feel happiness (among other positive emotions) more often and for longer periods – not to neglect negative thoughts and emotions completely.

And of course, the article features my favorite four-step process for catching negative thoughts and turning them into positive ones.

2. How to Meditate for Happiness (in 15 Minutes or Less)

In March, I published what is now a permanent part of the resources page, an article about meditation:

How to Meditate for Happiness (in 15 Minutes or Less)

Yes, You can meditate for happiness very easily and it doesn’t take any longer than 15 minutes.

There are many ways in which meditation can help you be happier like reduced stress levels, more energy, focusing your thoughts, etc.

However, the main focus of this article is how to use meditation to connect with the feeling of happiness at will.

See for yourself and try it out!

3. How to Deal with Emotions in a Healthy Way

If you read only one of these articles, read this. It’s about

How to Deal with Emotions in a Healthy Way

Every emotion, positive or negative, is meant to help us, not harm us. But we don’t understand our emotions let alone know how to deal with them. We never learn how. So we try to ignore or repress them instead.

As you probably know, this can lead to all sorts of problems. If not dealt with, emotions can “pile up” and take on harmful forms such as depression, rage, and jealousy.

But when you have a healthy approach to emotions, they become an invaluable tool to help you live a happy and successful life.

4. 3 Ways to Build Better Relationships for Personal Growth and Happiness

Lastly, here’s an article about our community’s favorite subject, relationships:

3 Ways to Build Better Relationships for Personal Growth and Happiness

In this article, we delve into the nature of relationships, exploring the keys to nurturing fulfilling connections, fostering personal growth, and embracing the transformative power of human interaction.

This article will also present to you a new way of thinking about relationships, in the context of personal growth.

Of course, there are many more articles worth mentioning, but these four cover the things that most commonly cause obstacles to our happiness.

Bookmark the articles and read them at your leisure.

They are timeless pieces of advice that you can come back to whenever you need to remind yourself that happiness is indeed your choice.

Have a great week and think happy thoughts!
