3 Simple Alternative Therapies for Mental Health

Hello Reader,

I hope you are feeling joyful!

This week, I wanted to go back to my roots (specifically the roots of Happiness On Demand) and write about mental health.

(Ok, this post was published a week ago, but I didn't want to stuff this with the Best of 2023 blog posts newsletter 😄)

As you probably know, Happiness On Demand was born from my struggles with mental well-being. It is my effort to help anyone in need of relief from stress, anxiety, or even depression.

And I offer my help in the form of tools and techniques that helped me overcome my struggles. These techniques are often labeled alternative, integrative, or complementary therapies.

Alternative Therapies for Mental Health

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in alternative therapies for mental health.

These therapies are complementary and integrative in nature and provide individuals with a wider range of tools to improve their emotional well-being.

This shift in approach acknowledges the significance of treating mental health holistically. It not only focuses on treating the symptoms but also emphasizes the overall quality of life.

And that is great!

But here’s the issue:

As I researched alternative therapies, I couldn't help but notice the overwhelming number of options available online.

While the information was abundant, it often left me feeling confused and unsure.

During my own struggles with anxiety and depression, I wanted quick and effective relief, rather than having to sift through countless books, courses, methods, and therapies.

I didn't want to have to figure out which approach was the best one for me from a seemingly endless list.

As if I would even have the mental capacity for it. I could hardly get out of bed some days, let alone try to figure out what form of therapy would be best for me.

Fortunately (by pure chance or divine guidance), I discovered practices that were not only effective but also easy to integrate into my daily routine.

I found that these simple practices were the key to my mental wellness, and they could help others as well.

So In this blog post, I explore the simplest techniques for promoting mental wellness.

These practices are not exhaustive solutions, but rather foundational steps towards achieving balance and harmony in our lives.

These simple yet impactful practices are designed to uplift and restore the mind, body, and spirit. And in today's complex world, sometimes the path to healing can be best found in simple practices that are seamlessly incorporated into our daily routines.

These practices worked wonders for me and they can work wonders for you too.

I hope you find this information useful.

There's another blog post available fresh out of the oven as well, but I'll write more about it in the next newsletter.

In the meantime,
